.. yes, the proverbial camel breaking straw. This one causing me to give up on my southwest adventure.

I’m talking about the malfunctioning of my ac.

Previous Straws:
– continued loss of vision, now even in my “good eye”
– not able to drive (my car, living in my garage, still needs a new home}
– lack of hot water continues (water softner malfunctioned, causing back up, causing all the plumbing joints to leak)
– appliances not working properly

It’s true – I have to accept my waning independence. It is not wise or safe for me to live alone.

The Next Adventure
Where will I land?
– back to the snowbelt
– a facility here, or there
– a condo mate?

In the Meantime
Here’s some tips (in case you find yourself in the same predicament – without ac that is)
– place frozen bottles of water in front of fans (the poor persons ac)
– neck coolers
– cold showers
– lots of popsicles
– easy reading series for distraction (such as, “The Cat Who….)
