Inescapable troubles abound: relational, personal, health, political, etc. Our viewing perspective makes all the difference in navigating the sludge of life.
Taking Jesus as our stable viewing point, we can look out and face the “seismic catastrophes” facing us, knowing:
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear
though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved
into the heart of the seas,
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling
(Psalm 46:1-3)
Living in these uncertain and at turbulent times, may you find extra strength and peace as you walk through your day, secure in the vantage point offered to you.
