There will be peace in the valley for me some day

No more sorrow or sadness or trouble will there be

The bear will be gentle
The wolf will be tame
And the lion shall lay down by the lamb
The beasts of the wild
Shall be led by a child
And I’ll be changed from this creature I am

No headaches or heartaches or misunderstands
Confusion and trouble won’t be
No frowns to defile, just a big endless smile
There will be peace and contentment for me

I’m tired and weary but I must toil on
Till the lord comes and calls me away
Where the morning is bright and the Lord is the light
And the night is as fair as the day
