On my early morning, sunrise walk, the dew point being so high (moisture in the air), a beautiful rainbow emerged, giving me pause to stop, appreciate and give thanks for the beauty of nature, admist the cacophony of life.
It was much cooler this morning, so I extended my walk, hoping to be early enough to avoid the road resurfacing through our neighborhood that has kept many of us trapped. However, I misjudged.
To avoid the milling and following tar-laying trucks that appeared unexpectedly early, I altered my path. This would not have been a problem, had I not been recovering from an injured back.
I made it home, and tomorrow, when we have beautiful smooth subdivision roads, I am headed out to treat myself – that would be double my usual gelato portion.
