On the label I read, “This prescription being filled in combination with older adult has serious risks.” I am a bit startled at this unfamiliar warning.
It all started when I woke up one morning with a little irritation that I knew from previous experience could turn into a major blow up. Not a problem. I stock several over the counter meds to attack.
By the next evening, it became clear that I would need a Rx. Not a problem, I’ve used telemed before. The following ensued:
– the website had completely changed
– it took an hour or two for me to click the pertinent links and resubmit my information
– I am informed their rates have doubled
– finally, I secure a slot on the waiting list
– I am ushered into the cyber waiting room & informed I would be given a link to connect with a doctor
Here’s where the real problems began:
– the link did not work.
– as I am fairly competent with this computer stuff, I try several web browsers on multiple devices
– the message came that I had missed my appointment.
– not to worry, I’ll try again
– same results
– I give up
Not to worry. By next mid-day, I get a text telling me my Rx is ready for pick up.

Moral of the story:
When OTC is not enough, there is an invisible Doctor AI coming to your rescue
& they are dedicated to proper senior care.
