How did Erma Bombeck do it? Come up with creative, entertaining, humorous columns five days a week, for decades. I have tried to commit to writing twice weekly, never devolving into boringness, not lapsing into “woe is me,” nor becoming preachy with my cultural observations.

Finding myself in a bit of a holding pattern, needing my batteries recharged, I will be heading north for a bit, provided the Canadian smoke cooperates. May you also create a time-out for yourself as we travel this often bumpy, curvy path called life.
